The Love Story
This love story began before they knew each other. Christine was growing up in Houston, TX, attending Uncle Morad’s (Anthony’s maternal uncle) Sunday School class every Sunday. Anthony was being taken to church to dress as a deacon in Santa Monica, CA by Uncle Sobhy (Christine’s paternal uncle). Much to their oblivion, they might've passed one another in the halls of St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church (Houston, TX) many times over those youthful years.
However, God meant for their paths to cross 13 years ago at a mutual friend’s homecoming from Afghanistan.
Those next 13 years would be a friendship that was watered only when one of them was in the other’s city. Their 13-year friendship continues to blossom to this day.
